Modwest Launches Real-time Status Page
November 24th, 2003 Modwest today announced the availability of a service status page, http://status.modwest.com, which is updated automatically every five minutes with daily, weekly, and monthly uptime data for a variety of Modwests services. Visitors can view performance information for websites, email, databases, and file transfer connections.
The new site is hosted in a different facility than Modwests core hosting infrastructure to ensure maximum report availability.
Modwest co-founder and VP John Masterson remarked: Our service reliability has been historically excellent, and weve been eager to publish the specific metrics. In an industry littered with unsubstantiated claims of 99.9% uptime, we believe our customers will appreciate having access to Modwests actual service reliability data.
