In Miva Merchant, I get the error, "Missing Required Shipping Information" or similar.

Cause: There is a new security feature in Miva Merchant 4.16 that allows the customer to check in two boxes under 'Stores>>>Edit Store>>>Settings'called "Require Shipping" and "Require Tax". With these two checked in,checkout will produce the errors above if their is no shipping setup or tax setup in the store. However, there is a issue that will bring these errors up even if the shipping and tax are setup properly.

Fix: There are two ways to fix this. You can uncheck both of those boxes, which will get rid of those errors. But you may want to leave them checked to prevent unauthorized orders going through that aren't charging shipping or tax. The other fix is easy, and this is the one Miva recommends. Go into Stores>>>Utilities>>>Delete Shopping Baskets and delete ALL shopping baskets, then Pack Store Data Files. Make sure you are deleting all baskets and not just expired ones. You will probably want to do this in Maintenance Mode while nobody is in the store shopping.
