Can you generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) so I can get a secure certificate for my website?
Yes, we can generate a CSR for you so you can buy a secure certificate.IMPORTANT: This is only for those who want to buy their own SSL certificate which costs $75 for a one-year certificate + $50 installation + $10/mo. If you only want to use our shared SSL certificate for $10 per month with no setup fee, select the "Shared SSL Certificate" option from the drop-down menu here. The difference between the two offerings is described here.
RESELLERS: Your costs will be $75 for a one-year certificate + $3/mo for continuing service. In order to offer shared SSL to your customers, you must purchase a certificate for the secure hostname you wish to share, such as secure.yourdomain.com. As a reseller you cannot use Modwest's shared SSL because that secured area uses a Modwest domain name.
To buy your own SSL certificate, first access the add-ons section of your control panel by clicking here. Next, select "Your Secure Certificate for SSL" from the drop-down menu. From there, simply fill out the required fields (bold items) in the form and click the 'Send' button at the bottom.
