Customer Support
Can I have hit stats or a hit counter?
Detailed traffic analysis using Webalizer is included with your hosting account. With any of the Power plans, a more advanced stat package called Wusage is included. Wusage can also be added as an extra service to any Value plan. These stat packages allow you to see trends in traffic to your site, including where visitors are coming from, search terms they used to find your site, number of hits, visits and pages served.Statistics are automatically turned on for you. You should have a link to them from your Control Panel, or you can find them at http://stats.[yourdomain.com] or, if you don't have your own domain name, http://stats.[yoursite].modwest.com
If you see on your Control Panel "Stats for [your site] haven't been generated yet." then this may mean that either:
1) You just signed up for hosting with us and stats have not had a chance to run yet.
2) You have received no hits at all to your website and therefore there are no stats. You may have received no hits because you have not yet changed your domain registration to list our nameservers. Read this FAQ about checking to make sure the nameservers on your registration are correct so people will arrive on our servers when they try to go to your domain. If they are not correct, follow this FAQ to fix your registration.
Counters
If you just want a hit counter, some simple hit counters are available for free at http://px.sklar.com/section.html?section_id=6, http://px.sklar.com/code-pretty.html?code_id=291, http://zend.com/codex.php?id=29&single=1, http://zend.com/codex.php?id=47&single=1, http://zend.com/codex.php?id=116&single=1, or http://zend.com/codex.php?id=54&single=1.
