Do I get root access?

Depends on the plan that you have:

• Shared hosting plans do not offer root access. However, you are provided shell access to perform many commands.


• VPS plans are self-managed systems and offer root access in addition to the tools available through the Plesk control panel.


• Managed server plans do not come with root access, since Modwest engineers administer the server for you.
