Customer Support
How do I upload and edit my files?
You can upload your files through ftp or edit them on the server using SSH. If your FTP client application supports SFTP, we highly recommend you connect to our server using this method, as it is more secure than plain FTP. Just use the Modwest username and password you chose when you signed up when connecting to our server.FTP:
Connect to: ftp.modwest.com
Server Directory: /htdocs/www/
SSH:
Connect to: shell.modwest.com
A good ftp program is Ipswitch.com's WS_FTP LE.
Vandyke.com makes pretty good FTP, SSH, and Telnet clients too. Make sure that you are uploading your web pages into your /htdocs/www/ directory so the webserver will serve them.
