Where can I get my own domain name?

If you'd like to register your domain through us, click here.

Registering a domain name is NOT the same as signing up for hosting with us. They are 2 separate things. You can register a domain name with whomever you want to, so long as the registration lists our nameservers and no others. It takes 24 hours for a newly registered domain name to be usable. Your hosting account, however, is usable immediately even if your domain name is not ready.

If you want to register a domain name through us and have never done so before, then when the registration form asks you for an "Account Name" so that you can login to a domain name manager later, you should fill in the blank under the "New Users" section, even if you already signed up with us for hosting. The domain registration "Account Name" you choose doesn't have to be the same as one of your hosting usernames with us, but it can be.

Some other ICANN approved registrars where domain names can be registered are Dotster, 10-domains, GoDaddy or OpenSRS.

Wherever you register your domain names, just remember to list our nameservers on your registration.
